In Japan, MEAT MANIA JAPAN was born under the theme of “The Relay of Life,”
to honor the deep connection between producers, chefs, and Japan’s rich meat culture.

But abroad, our mission begins with something more fundamental —
to show the world what true Wagyu really is, and how extraordinary it can be.

Wagyu has become increasingly popular worldwide,
but its true potential has yet to be fully realized.

In many countries, the “Wagyu” served in restaurants does not reflect the authentic quality of Japanese Wagyu.
Because there are very few chefs who truly understand how to bring out the best of this unique meat,
many people experience only “Wagyu in name,”
without ever tasting the real, exceptional flavor of genuine Japanese Wagyu.

The Chef — Ken Kamatsuda

A culinary artisan who has mastered Japan’s seasonal ingredients and traditional techniques,
Chef Ken Kamatsuda also serves as a judge for the international project
“UNDISCOVERED GEMS OF JAPAN.”

At KEN by Kamatsuda, located inside The Dubai EDITION,
he brings Japan’s finest Wagyu and seafood to life through refined omakase experiences —
allowing guests to feel the spirit and beauty of Japan through all five senses.
