Chef Ken Kamatsuda is known for his deep understanding of Japan’s seasonal ingredients and time-honored techniques. He also serves as a judge for the international project “UNDISCOVERED GEMS OF JAPAN.”

With a trusted network of producers across Japan, he meticulously sources the finest wagyu and the freshest seafood, bringing guests an authentic expression of Japanese cuisine.

Guided by the Japanese philosophy ishoku-dogen — “food and medicine spring from the same origin” — Chef Ken believes that cuisine is the foundation of wellbeing.

His ambition is to contribute to people’s health, and even the medical field, through the power of Japanese food.

 

In Dubai, he continues to explore innovative initiatives beyond the traditional restaurant framework, including collaborations with the wellness and medical sectors.

Located inside The Dubai EDITION, KEN by Kamatsuda offers an elevated omakase experience that captures the beauty of Japan’s four seasons and engages all five senses.
